At interiorstyle, we create custom furniture made to your exact specifications. Because each piece is uniquely crafted for individual clients, our return policy differs from standard retail policies. This document explains our policies regarding custom orders, cancellations, defects, and warranty coverage.
All furniture produced by interiorstyle is custom-made according to client specifications approved during the design phase. Custom orders are non-refundable once fabrication begins. This is because custom pieces are created specifically for you and cannot be resold to other customers.
Before fabrication begins, we provide detailed design drawings, material samples, and specifications for your approval. We encourage clients to review these materials carefully and ask questions to ensure the final piece will meet expectations. Once you approve the design and we begin work, the project cannot be cancelled for a refund.
If you need to cancel your order before fabrication begins, you may do so with forfeiture of the design deposit. The design deposit covers the time our team invested in creating proposals, drawings, and material sourcing. Any amount paid beyond the design deposit will be refunded within fourteen business days.
Once fabrication has begun, orders cannot be cancelled. You remain responsible for the full contract amount. We understand that circumstances change, and we will work with clients facing genuine hardship to explore possible solutions, but we cannot guarantee accommodations.
Every piece we create undergoes rigorous quality inspections throughout the fabrication process and before delivery. We stand behind the quality of our craftsmanship and materials. If you discover a defect or issue with your furniture, please contact us immediately.
If your furniture arrives with defects in materials or workmanship, or if we made errors in executing the approved design specifications, we will repair or replace the affected components at no cost to you. This includes structural failures, finish defects not caused by natural wood characteristics, hardware malfunctions, and dimensional errors that deviate from approved specifications.
To report a defect, contact us within seven days of delivery with photographs documenting the issue. We will schedule an assessment and determine the appropriate remedy. Please note that natural variations in wood grain, color, and figure are inherent characteristics of natural materials and do not constitute defects.
We take great care in packaging and transporting furniture to prevent damage during delivery. However, if your piece arrives damaged, note the damage on the delivery receipt and photograph the affected areas immediately. Contact us within twenty-four hours of delivery. We will arrange repair or replacement of damaged components depending on the extent of the damage.
All custom furniture is covered by a five-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use. This warranty covers structural failures such as joint separation or frame breakage, finish failures not caused by improper care or environmental factors, and hardware defects or malfunctions.
The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear from regular use, damage from accidents, misuse, or abuse, damage from improper care or maintenance, damage from exposure to extreme temperatures, moisture, or sunlight, natural wood movement and minor cracking due to changes in humidity, and modifications or repairs made by parties other than interiorstyle.
To make a warranty claim, contact us with a description of the issue and photographs. We will evaluate the claim and determine whether it is covered under warranty. If covered, we will repair or replace the defective components at our discretion. Warranty service may be performed at our workshop or your location depending on the nature of the issue.
We understand that needs may evolve during the design process. Minor design modifications can typically be accommodated before fabrication begins. However, significant changes may require additional design time and material costs. Once fabrication begins, design changes become increasingly difficult and costly to implement.
If you request changes after fabrication has begun, we will assess feasibility and provide a quote for additional costs and time required. We reserve the right to decline modification requests that would compromise the structural integrity or aesthetic quality of the piece.
To maintain your furniture in optimal condition and preserve warranty coverage, clients are responsible for following provided care instructions, protecting furniture from extreme environmental conditions, using appropriate cleaning products and methods, addressing spills and stains promptly, and contacting us immediately if issues develop.
Failure to properly maintain your furniture may void warranty coverage. We provide detailed care instructions with every delivery and are available to answer care and maintenance questions.
If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of your furniture or our service, please contact us immediately so we can work together to resolve the issue. We are committed to client satisfaction and will make reasonable efforts to address legitimate concerns. Most issues can be resolved through open communication and good faith negotiation.
If we cannot reach a mutually satisfactory resolution, disputes will be handled according to the arbitration provisions outlined in our Terms of Use.
